Garden Update

A while back I planted my winter garden. All was growing quite nicely. I had three lovely rows of lettuce. And then I didn't. Some creature had an amazing salad one day for lunch because it is now gone.

Behind the step stone you can see my swiss chard thriving. Apparently the garden creature either is scared of my gnome (who lives in swiss chard land) or just does not like the taste. So yesterday I re-tilled the lettuce area and planted a row of carrots and two of spinach. I'm hoping my garden-eating-creature does not like my spring garden.

Gardens and spring make me smile! I hope it doesn't like your spring garden either!

When the day comes that I finally get my own place, I'm starting a garden! So jealous!

See you Sat :)

Cedric is pulling double duty, workout partner and swiss chard guard? Or do you have two gnomes? And if you do, why haven't you publicly introduced us to him. Or is a her?

Unlike the rest of us, you must have more than 24 hours in your day to do everything you do. Garden is on my "to-do" list when I get home.

Your garden is doing so much better than my herbs. And I can't blame any garden eating creature on the disapearance of my herbs. I just can't seem to keep the damn things alive.

Sorry, but it smells like a rat. This is how my problem started last spring...I think you'll need about 20 more gnomes with swords...good luck.
