The Great Outdoors

All of our rain has made the valley amazingly green.

And Palomar extra snowy.

It was a nice day to climb. Cold on the descent, but warm sun hitting my back, so much better than the previous sleety experience

Tiptoe checking out my winter garden. Lettuce is sprouting!

This beauty is going to sacrifice its life for my post-run recovery drink today. Thank you garden!

I'm jealous of your good weather.

Nice orange! That is so cool and your little lettuce sprouts hold a lot of promise for many, many salads to come. I have spinach sprouting...

Yes, jealous of your weather, too. Ran a 20 miler in 2 degrees today and even my water bottles froze...

Please send some of that warmth this way! I would love to have a winter garden, but will have to content myself with waiting till spring. I guess that having such cold winters does make me enjoy spring that much more when it arrives!

Awesome! Nice and green! It's unfortunately looking much more like that second picture where I am right now, though...

You live in the right spot to be a pro. You need to post more details about your rides -- I would love to see what I need to aspire to.
