Brrrrrrr

The fog rolled in this morning right as we started our ride.

The ocean water is ice-bath temp.
But with a wetsuit it was not bad once swimming.

The water can't be that cold if we're all laughing when we come out. . .

Holy cow! Congrats on the open water swim! The water temp here is around 54 - and I still really don't want to get it!!!

Oh man. This post has filled me with dread. PLEASE warm up just a little. Could you see what you can do about that?

good job getting in! will you keep me posted on open water swims you do in north county? i usually just happen to not plan them on my own for some odd reason :)

I bet you were delirious from the cold water. I wore my wetsuit Friday and found my boiling point. But at least I could feel my feet when I got out.

I love the foggy picture, it's so typically our coast at this time of the year! I love the "behind" shot of all of you walking out to swim.
How fun!

Ok I will stop complaining about it being cold here. ;) At least we had some sun today.

Wow the weather's been really nice over here on the East Coast.

Brrr, I can't believe you swim in water that cold! I went for a nice 33 mile ride today with the air temp of 50, but that is darn near hot compared to the winter we had this year. Still snow on the ground in the shady spots. C'mon Summer!!

Fog always feels colder than any other weather condition - it's just so darn wet and heavy. Love seeing you swim in the ocean!
