Choppy Swim Prep

If for some odd reason next Sunday at Ironman Wisconsin the wind picks up something fierce and the water is choppy. . . . I am ready for that!

The boys are racing Big Kahuna next weekend. We figured a make-sure-our-wetsuits-work swim was in order. In reality we all showed up for the post-swim promise of coffee at Pannikin.

Overcast, cold water and chop. I suppose this could be Wisconsin-ish, minus the salt water.

Fun!

It was a great holiday.

Oh gosh Charisa, that water just looks cold and angry! :) Lake Monona will feel like a breeze after swimming in that!

Seems a great Ironman group and
you posted a nice report with photos, Charisa.

That looks like my NJ ocean did with Earl's effects this past weekend!

If the water were to look like that in Wisconsin it would mean a hurricane of epic proportions was hitting the midwest and the world might be coming to an end.

Kevin looks very nonplussed about the whole event :-) Those are some choppy seas - hope you didn't take on too much water.

That sea is only for real athletes (and let me say real sailors). Good luck on saturday, come back with hardwares and glory!
