Texas Bound!

Off to that very large state in the middle of the country where "everything's bigger." I'm taking Steven, along with these two boys with me.

Fast Brian (yes, we call him that) starts 13 minutes behind me. Nick (tall one) starts 8 minutes behind me. They will most likely get to wear wetsuits. I will not. They will also probably provide more motivation for me to race fast, knowing they are chasing me, than the other pro women will.
Last year at Buffalo Springs 70.3 I had a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it all over again.

Go get 'em! And don't let all that big Texas hair and cowboy boots intimidate or frighten you. Think "California Gurls" (Even though I hate Katie Perry.)

Have fun!
Back in the "old days" I did Buffalo Springs and dropped out in the bike. If I remember I wore a wetsuit and wished I hadn't..
Sounds like your plan is right on... worry about the boys, not the girls

Are you celebrating again the victory? A bit late happy anniversary!

Nice race, Sugar Britches! (Got sick of referring to you as 'girl' or 'gal' or 'chika.') Good to see there were no apparent wetsuit difficulties. The Dirkenator program seems to be paying off.

Can't wait for the RR and pics.

By the way, that top photo is insanely beautiful! Did he shoot it HDR? Give him a high five for me.
