A Good Day

This morning I went to the pool to do my final 6,000m swim this week. SOLO. I never find it terrible to swim a long distance with masters - maybe because I have friends to chat with and someone to follow in the lane. But swimming 6,000m solo is a mental battle all in itself. I made up my own workout with fast, easy, pulling, floating, etc. And the workout went by quick.

The weather today was perfect, even by Southern CA standards.

And now that I've washed off all the sunscreen and filled my stomach, I'm off to the library to find a good book. And of course a visit to the coffee shop next door. And that is what I would call a good day.

Wow. That's an awesome day. I don't think my arms could hold me up on the bike after 6K of swimming.

6000 meters all alone?! That's tough--will definitely make you a tougher swimmer, mentally and physically.

6000 meters solo, congrats!!! Indeed I prefer the solo swimming. I like the picture with the sea.

6k swimming alone is all mental, sure gets boring fast.

Love the views
