My Runner Husband

This is my husband Steven. In college he ran with me for about a week. And when he realized he didn't need to keep running with me to continue dating me, he promptly stopped.

This is not to say he was not supportive. Completely the opposite - the boy had attended more marathons, triathlons and trail races before we even got married, than any non-racer I know.

At some point in the past few years our group of running friends somehow sucked him in and he started going to track every week. And then there was a small triathlon where he competed against his brothers. And I dare say somewhere along the way he got hooked, just like the rest of us.

On Sunday he ran a 5k PR of 18:31! Epic.

We need matching shorts and singlet for the shoes. It will take off at least 30 seconds...

Go Steven! I wish I was a non-runner turned into a fast runner....instead I'm just a non-runner turned into a slow runner.
