Desert Beauty

This was the view as we drove to Borrego Springs for the remainder of the Rudy Project photo shoot. Simply beautiful.

These tall cacti-type flowers were all over. Hard to tell from this picture, but they are red on top, so they look a bit like flaming plants, which I found just awesome.

Nick riding up a mountain.

A bit of desert running for both of us.

And a beautiful field of cows on the way home made the day pretty darn fun.

Great photos. I assume this is pretty close to Carlsbad. If so the variety of your countryside is amazing.

Gah! I miss running in the desert! I'm so envious. The photo shoot looks like fun! You look great!
