Vincenzo

I could tell you about the beauty of my ride today, how I lost my legs at mile 5 and spent the next 110 miles searching for them in vain. Or how awesome John and Marit were for making a difficult ride rather fun.

But the most exciting riding I did today was actually on my new fixed gear, who I have named Vincenzo. I still have a bit of tweaking, pedal-changing and prepping to perform on Vincenzo, but OH HE IS FUN!! More pics to come . . .

I have been waiting with great anticipation to hear about "Vincenzo" - that red chain is hot! Can't wait for more detail and pics.

Sorry to hear about your long ride - but hey you rode for 115 miles so maybe I'm not that sorry.

Have a great long weekend.

I had lost all love for riding (well pretty much all training hah) til yesterday when I went out for a spin with a friend: me on my tri bike, him on his $299 Canadian Tire special "mountain" bike. We were quite the site, but I had SO much fun being out with someone and not just sitting by myself. Amazing what a person or two can do for ya out there.

Love the new bike, that's HOT! So you spent 110 miles looking for your legs?!? At that point, what would you have done had you found them??? Another century+? Keep doing what you do, love your blog.
