My Favorite Ride

I had promised pictures of one of my favorite rides. In the winter we actually get a little rain here and the green hills are awesome. Summer is brown and won't produce fun contrasting colors in photos.

The dot is my friend Mike.

I might need to practice the self-portrait-while-riding a little more.

I did not change any of these images in Photoshop.
This is REALLY how beautiful it is!

Happy riding - stay safe!

How beautiful!! Thanks for the pictures. I'm going to look at these before my next trainer ride so I can close my eyes and picture myself riding here instead!

When I looked at your photos I felt joyful and exuberant, then I looked out the window at our frozen wasteland and thought, well, a couple more months.
In the meantime, I have TWO bikes with studded snow tires. Let's ride!!! (and it's green here pretty much all summer) ;)
You really do have an entire paradise to rind in, don't you?!

What a lovely ride!! Do you get there from your house or do you have to drive to the start? Thanks for sharing the photos!

I don't know, that self portrait isn't so bad if you put a mirror up to the right side of it. And what is all that stuff on the ground and in the trees? If I look closely it appears to be grass and leaves, but that is impossible - it's winter. Maybe I don't recognize green considering we won't see it here for another 4 months.

SD rides are in my near future... This makes me even more excited. Also makes me realize I need to start carrying a camera.
