St. Donat's Bay

Shaun found a hike posted in the Times and we decided to check it out on New Years Day.

The beginning of the hike was somewhat muddy.

And we took a few wrong turns.

Lost. Sort of.

Wall from the 1500s.

Back on track.

Into the forrest.

Green door.

More sheep!

Headed to the coast.

THIS!!

So. Very. Beautiful.

Rock beach.

Dripping cave.

There is an old tradition that if you throw a rock into a specific cave on this beach, your love life will be in order by the end of the year (or something like this). Only problem was, there were multiple caves. I threw rocks into every single one just to be sure.

The other coast.

Awesome beach.

The cave.

At the end of our hike we found ourselves in a small beach cafe with decorations straight out of 1982. I couldn't stop laughing.

But the welsh cakes were perfect.
