New Orleans Images

I managed to take so many photos in New Orleans I will have to post them over several days. The city did not disappoint with its historic architecture, character and artistic beauty.

Lake Pontchartrain.

There was a stark contrast between the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina and some of the wealthier neighborhoods filled with historic old mansions.

Above ground cemeteries.

One of my favorite little houses,
tucked between larger monstrosities.

Lanterns everywhere.

I love the diversity and culture of New Orleans. You have captured that with your photos!

Been there once with my wife. We toured a big mansion, and did an alligator tour, and a boat tour on the mighty Mississippi. The boat tour was cool, because the ships were so big so close to the ocean, as opposed to like St. Louis or other areas farther North.

Glad you had a good time. :)
