A Great Ride

I recruited my Dad for some bike intervals yesterday. Actually he agreed to come on the ride - not to the interval part. I was solo on the intervals - but thankfully had someone to talk to the rest of the time.

This photo was taken about 2 seconds post-interval. My legs and heart were still screaming at me when I captured it. I never realized how beautiful the sky was until I got home and downloaded the photo. Fun bonus.

Bird gathering.

I need to schedule a lesson on how to take pictures while riding, you are so good at it. I end up cutting off my head!

That reminds me of something I read a while back. It was a girl who was a professional cyclist. I don't remember where I read it, but she said she rode her bike, and rode her bike, and rode her bike. One time she started slowing down a bit. Retired perhaps, I don't remember. She then wondered how much she missed by always going so fast.

I found it interesting. Your interval, and sky pictures made me think of that. Good thing you saw the sky huh?? Some people miss that stuff. glad you didn't. :)

Ha!! The word verification thing is twitter. lol :)
