Trail Running

Chasing. Tripping. The sound of my breath. Flying downhill. Jumping over rocks. Slipping on wet leaves. Laughing. Catching the glimpse of a lake while briefly taking my eyes off the trail. Legs burning.

The joys of trail running. And feeling so very alive.

I'm really jealous of you guys out in CA all the trails here are frozen and covered in patches of ice.

(granted that Brine stuff on the roads does save outdoor runs in the New England Winter.)

Trail running is the best!! One of the bad things about our winter because the trails are too snowy/icy to run on. One of the best things about spring though - when you can start running on the trails again! :) Enjoy!

If this were my post I'd have to repeat that part about tripping and slipping a few (read: lot) more times.

I loved your bathroom post and how you only swam 1000 in a week! That is me right now too Charisa! I haven't touched that pool.. man, when I get back it could be ugly! Here's to the off season though and doing some fun things we don't normally get to do or work on! Trail running - love it! Happy Holidays my friend!!

Awesome. Never done trail running before - I am a bit of a clutz. Very weak ankles make for constant face planting.
