Running Races

Steven ran his first ever timed mile a few weeks ago. In 5:38! Pretty awesome for a boy who did not run at all a few years ago. Sunday we will both run the San Dieguito Half Marathon. Right now I'm not sure I can match last year's time, let alone beat it. But I'm going to give it my best shot. This is one of my favorite races - very hilly to keep you honest, beautiful scenery, and all my friends come out for the race. I can't really ask for more!

Good luck at your upcoming half marathon! Sounds like a fun, but tough, course.

What a quinkie-dink. I will be there as well!!

Funny to read your old post and the line "Charisa with a couple of pro triathletes." Funny how a year can change things huh?

I just hope to beat Steven. With 5:38's in him, it may be a battle to the line.

You race a lot. But then you have a lot of races to choose from because you can see the roads.

That picture of Steven doesn't do him justice. It looks like he's out for a jog. It would be fun to hear about Steven and Ian battling it out - spit and elbows flying.

of all the half mary's i have run san dieguito is hands down my favorite! and it has nothing to do with the fast that Stone Brewing sponsors the race!

good luck out there.

Very respectable time, you might want to keep that in check Charisa, but then again, another running partner is always nice. No pressure for the half, just go out there and see what you got on that day.

5:38....I'd need my bike to do a mile that fast. Good luck this weekend.
