Rainy Track

I am continually impressed by our track club. Last night it poured buckets the entire workout and there must have been over 25 people who showed up to run.

It got a little soggy by the end. See Meg's version of her workout here.

This is my Dad. Doesn't he look like a gnome?!

Steven looks like he's working really hard.

Jeff running so fast you can hardly see him. Or maybe that was the black stealth outfit he had on . . .

The Mikes and I. Good times!

I am always so amazed and impressed by folks who really brave the elements to get outside and do something. For you it is running in a monsoon, here is it being outside in a blizzard! Love it.

My computer's desktop wallpaper says, "If you ever want to see who the true runners are, take a peek outside during Mother Nature's next hissyfit."

So true!!

That totally explains your affinity for gnomes!

All of San Diego is strange. I have never heard of a track workout around here with that many people on a good night, much less a rainy one.

(That is some bank on that track from the look of that one picture and you must have to run REALLY fast to stay on that.)

(I also said "that" about fifty times in that previous sentence. Good english word using.)

So what you're saying is you went and ran on the track (as did 24 other people) when it was POURING and you didn't get hurt? Hmmmmmmm... what's up with that pussy training partner of yours that chose the treadmill for his tempo because it was raining?

I am sure they all showed up to run with a Professional triathlete!
