Here We GO!

Tomorrow we get to test ourselves - figure out where we are this early in the triathlon season. But more than that we get to have fun at a local race. Friends will come out and cheer, we'll try to chase each other down on the bike and when the day is over, we'll dissect our races and laugh at ourselves.
My coach starts 4 minutes behind me. I will be swimming scared - trying not to let him pass me until at least the first hill on the bike!! If he passes me in the water I will never hear the end of it!

And my Dad starts 16 minutes in front of me. You can bet I will be chasing him down! Although it is not completely a fair race with my Dad because he's coming back from an injury. But he is family, so I'm allowed to trash talk all day after I pass him!

That's the spirit! Kick your old man's ASS! (You might have a little bit of a competitive streak in you.) Good luck to you and your dad. (I dare you to run in the "bumper shoes" you have on in that pic.) Hope the weather holds. Go Fast, Now!

How cool for you in the same race with your coach and your dad. Wow! I usually get Shaun in the swim but then he just whizzes past me on the bike and I don't see him until the run (if there are two loops :((
You will kick some ass tomorrow - I am so excited for you. Good luck to your Dad as well.

Sweet! Sounds like you've got a great attitude. Don't let your coach get you in the water... yes. that would be bad. ;)

have fun tomorrow!
