Well that was FUN!

It's OPEN!! Carlsbad's Peet's Coffee & Tea opened today.

Steven and I went on a date tonight to the coffee shop, then for a walk. While walking, I realized somehow in the last few weeks spring arrived in Southern California. We went from cold rain and leafless trees to this . . .

It was a pretty great way end to Monday.

Were you the first in line at Peet's? We don't have them here in MN, but I love them when we get to Chicago. Trees! With leaves! Someday. Someday.

I don't understand coffee. But it's apparent you are very excited about this opening. Enjoy spring. We are still in winter here (low 60s at night).

Mmmm..spring! I'm jealous! :-P

I wonder if Peet's will ever come to Minnesota?! I'm wanting to try their coffee now. My favorite here is called The Bean Factory. There's also a restaurant in St. Paul that makes true European style espresso! YUM!

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom here in SF too!

Hi Charisa

Spring is what we all need now.

The photo of the tree is a hopeful sign.

Think it will happen here soon as the gulls have their black summer markings on their heads.

Happy biking.

Love,
Herrad

Thanks for your comment on my blog

I can never tell what season it is 'round here...but now that you mention the flowers on the trees I guess it might be trying to be spring. :-)
