Windy Commute

After swimming this morning I took the long route to work. Partly because I wanted to ride longer and partly because I wanted to see the wind-chopped ocean.

Flags stuck straight out and kite surfers caught serious air.

This poor pelican was flying, but going backward it was so windy.

Flying nearly 30mph uphill on my bike was pretty fun. I won't tell you how slow I was going into the head wind though . . .
