My friend Sean was on water patrol at Ironman Kona. This means he paddles around on his board and helps keep the 1,887 swimmers safe during the swim. I gave him my camera during the race and these are some of his awesome shots.
Some of these pictures look so peaceful and serene. Don't be confused - the Ironman swim start is many things, but peaceful generally is not one of them.
