Not so serious please!

I tend to have a problem purchasing things that make me laugh. I almost purchased an elephant lamp in an antique store recently. Because seriously - how fun would it be to laugh at that every morning when you turn it on?!

There are many things in life that should be taken seriously. I tend to think triathlon should not always be top of list. Don't get me wrong - I spend an enormous amount of time and energy dedicated to the sport, and my job. But that being said, in training and on race day don't be afraid to laugh at yourself occasionally please! This sport is crazy, this sport is fun, and it is incredibly hard. When things go wrong remember although many of us tend to think life revolves around sport - it most definitely does not. Happy training & racing!

That's loser talk! When I race, it's all business. My trophy case reflects that.

I know where you are coming from...
I bought I Trek TTX thinking it would make me ride Leitoish.
Now that was humorous..

I found racing in a kit covered in rainbows, hearts and unicorns that it was pretty hard for anyone to take me seriously, including me! See you out on the race course next weekend:)
