Traveling

I have a million things I would like to post. But have either had absolutely no time, or no internet access. The week has been a whirlwind of catching up with friends I have not seen in years, training, or trying to locate a decent road to ride on. Apparently Illinois did not invent the bike lane. Or even a small gutter to ride in. But there are some wide open farm lands and once I navigate my way out of the city, it is cycling heaven!

And now I'll skip from Chicago back to NYC with a few pics - this was our awesome "home away from home" at our friends' place in the village. Notice the QR even has space to stretch out...which is unheard of typically in the city. We felt very lucky!

And have you ever seen so many trucks in your life as you see on I80 heading out of Chicagoland??

a loft in the village that has room for a couch, a large table and QR? WOW that is one incredible place.

Safe travels and racing.
