A Touch of Gray

It seems lately the skies around here have been so thick with fog and clouds we are actually getting some (gasp!) rain. Yes, while much of the world sees rain as a normal occurrence, we here in Southern California tend to reserve rain for a select few winter months.

So when our roads get wet, it really just makes us realize how very spoiled we are as cyclists. I managed to find some dry roads yesterday despite our thick clouds.

I will be riding long this afternoon. I've managed to find a friend who could also "disappear" from work for a while to head inland where rumor has it the sun is shining!
