AZ Training Day 1

This is the scenery between Cali and Tucson.
Amazingly beautiful and boring.

The red arrow is Ian. Unfortunately we do not swim the same pace.

Trip to the co-op for fresh veggies. Love it!

Unfortunately Kevin couldn't make it, so the 3 Musketeer trip became the Dos Amigos trip. This was our hangout after swim+run.

Ride Scenery.

The end of hill repeat #8.
I am smiling because the hard work is done. For today.

Post-ride-flop. Tomorrow has another three workouts and a trip to visit our friends at TriSports.com. I could get used to training and recovering minus the day-job.

Oh, your post makes me miss Tucson...a little bit. I went to college at UofA then moved to Denver a couple of years after I graduated. Tucson has it's own beauty, but you can't beat the mountains here!

Have fun with your training! :)

As someone who hasn't worked the past 38 days, I must admit after 28 days, I started to miss work. I think a bit of work gives us a bit more structure and purpose, like we're helping advance society. However, you won't reach this feeling since you're only training for one week, it'll be total bliss the entire time.

Charisa, where is the co-op? I am not sure where that is?

Ian was that far behind? He should really lose the floaties and maybe lift some weights.

Looks like a great camp, but doesn't look super warm.

Keep after it.

I know others have already said this but it was what I was thinking when I read the post - really! You're THAT much faster than Ian? Cool!

Nice FC jersey - sad Kevin missed the trip. You guys look super relaxed on the recovery. I'm totally jealous.
