Road Trip and Rain

Widflower is a camping race. Which means that we get to go on a road trip. Steven and I once spent 8 weeks driving across the continent in our Honda Element, camping and seeing almost every National Park in the US and some in Canada. It was the ultimate road trip and served a purpose - as we had to get from CT to CA!

This is the forecast for the race this weekend:

The run is going to be one awesome muddy mess. I can't wait!!

When I was little, there was nothing I liked better than a rainy x-country season. I've got some great pictures of my covered head to toe in dirt and mud with a medal hanging around my neck. Classic.

HAVE FUN!!

I do not share your enthusiasm for this race forecast.

Rain??? Nothing unusual here. Just go with the flow (see what I've done there) and don't fight it. Good luck!

That is going to be a fun one. At least the tri bike is used to mud. Just be sure to run with your mouth closed. And don't wear white. Weather like that is why my parents stopped taking us camping - my mom couldn't stand it. Have a fun trip.
