Back to WORK

My legs are still recovering a bit from the race, but my arms need no recovery. Hence, it's back-to-work-time for me at the pool.

Probably the only good thing about swimming a 31 at Oceanside is that I'm mad about it. I worked my butt off in the pool this winter and I really don't think 31 reflects that. At all. We can sit around and analyze how there were currents, or the water was choppy. But honestly, I think I need to learn how to suck it up and swim harder when the gun goes off. I need to find feet, rather than watching them swim away from me.

I'm not discouraged. I am very motivated. So it's back to masters, back into the pool, and back to the gym to work on some strength. Sometimes having to work harder for something makes it that much better when you finally accomplish it. Wildflower will be my next stab at 27:xx. Until then, there is work to do...
